From August 29 to 31, the “NOEx Workshop” discusses how to measure nonordinary experiences

    May, 2nd 2024

We’ve all likely had unusual experiences. Some are more common, like dreaming. Others are more rare: visions, hallucinations, or near-death experiences. Known as nonordinary experiences, these phenomena attract the attention of scientists worldwide while challenging the scientific community. After all, how can such experiences be evaluated?

To discuss this topic, Pioneer Science is hosting the NOEx Workshop: Transdisciplinary Methods for Measuring Nonordinary Experiences in partnership with the D’Or Institute for Research and Education (IDOR) and with support from the John Templeton Foundation (USA).

With a program focused on practice, the workshop brings together international leaders on the subject, addressing the vast spectrum of human experience and mental health. The event focuses on advancing research methodologies and enhancing the skills necessary to empower researchers in this area.
