The Quantum Vision project, supported by Pioneer Science, converges neuroscience and physics to study whether and how our visual system perceives quantum phenomena. In it, researchers from both areas unite their knowledge and expertise to answer pioneering questions that will help build new knowledge about light and how it relates to our vision.
In this infographic, we show what is being worked on experimentally by these scientists: how physicists produce and direct photons with quantum correlation into a person’s eyes; and how neuroscientists assess visual perception of light.
