Established in 2019, the Quantum Biology Tech Lab (QuBiT) is led by quantum engineer Clarice D. Aiello, an electrical and computer engineering assistant professor at UCLA. QuBiT brings together quantum engineers to explore the influence of quantum physics on biology at the nanoscale. The lab uses cutting-edge quantum instrumentation and high-tech experiments to investigate whether the quantum realm plays a role in the mechanisms of life.
