B.S. in biological sciences with a medical specialization from UFRJ and a master’s and doctorate in morphological sciences from the same institution. Currently a professor at the IDOR School of Medical Sciences and a research specialist at IDOR, her work focuses on cell biology and neuroscience, with a particular interest in the long-term neurological effects of SARS-CoV-2 infection and the potential of psychedelics to slow the progression of Alzheimer’s disease.
