Pioneer Science Announcement — Researchers in Independent Career Consolidation

On Tuesday, July 16, 2024, Pioneer Science publishes the announcement Pioneer Science — Researchers in Independent Career Consolidation, its first public call. Aimed at young scientists from all over Brazil, the announcement will benefit up to 15 early-stage or developing independent career researchers with the amount of R$160,000.00 per year for three years.

Eligible scientists are those who obtained their doctorate up to ten years ago (or 12, in the case of women with children) and who have a formal employment or functional link in a university, institute, or public or private research entity based in Brazil.

The call seeks original and innovative projects (with disruptive potential) at the interface between health, biomedical, and exact sciences. Proposals must fit into one or more of the three focus areas of Pioneer Science: molecular and cellular biology, physics and mathematics of biology, and neuroscience and cognition.
