Pioneer Science receives the Max Planck Society in institutional agenda

Pioneer Science hosted an institutional visit from representatives of the Max Planck Society to Rio de Janeiro, in partnership with the D’Or Institute for Research and Education (IDOR). The German scientific organization is one of the most prestigious in the world, recognized for its excellence in cutting-edge research and its contribution to the advancement of knowledge in various strategic areas. In Latin America, they seek to expand partnerships for the development of cutting-edge research and support for young scientists.

The group’s agenda included visits to the facilities of Copa Star and IDOR, as well as participation in the Neuroscience Symposium, held in collaboration between the institutions and dedicated to advancing knowledge in the field.

This is a milestone for the sustainability of international scientific exchange between researchers from Pioneer Science, Max Planck Society and IDOR, further strengthening exchange and advanced training programs for researchers.

Neuroscience Symposium – Max Planck Society, Pioneer Science, and IDOR

The Neuroscience Symposium took place on May 6 in both in-person and remote formats with presentations of projects from researchers of the three institutions to disseminate innovative knowledge and stimulate new collaborations.

Representatives from Max Planck such as Wolf Singer, Tobias Renghart, Moritz Helmstaedter, Georgios Michalareas, and Ivan de Araújo were present; the Scientific Director of Pioneer Science, Sergio Ferreira, and the president of IDOR, Fernanda Tovar-Moll.

Researchers supported by Pioneer Science and IDOR, such as Stevens Rehen, Paulo Mattos, Gabriela Lemos, Gustavo Rohenkol, and Bruss Lima, also contributed with presentations on innovative approaches in neuroscience projects.
