IDOR and Pioneer Science announce the result of the Intramural Call

Three innovative projects have been selected for support over the next three years.

Research projects selected by the Intramural Call, an initiative of Pioneer Science and the D’Or Institute of Research and Education (IDOR), are original, disruptive, grounded in scientific excellence, and authored by researchers affiliated with IDOR.

The Intramural Call reinforces the commitment of Pioneer Science and IDOR to the development of frontier science in Brazil and allocates financial support of R$ 320 thousand per year to the selected projects for three years.

Support for disruptive science

Aimed at researchers affiliated with the IDOR, the Intramural Call IDOR – Pioneer Science included bold proposals focused on health and biomedical sciences.

From an external and independent committee of reviewers, the selection process involved individual evaluation of each proposal, exclusive interviews with candidates, and final selection of the projects.

Among the criteria considered, it is worth highlighting the weight of the project’s innovative character, as well as its originality, methodology, approach, and potential impact on the advancement of knowledge and human health.

With this Intramural Call, the collaboration between Pioneer Science and IDOR consolidates and materializes a common goal: fostering a fertile environment for the development of bold and interdisciplinary research capable of expanding the frontiers of knowledge in Brazil.
