The future with quantum biology

Brazilian quantum engineer Clarice Aiello, researcher at the Quantum Biology Tech Lab (QuBiT) and leader of UCLA’s new Center for Quantum Biology, works to bring quantum instrumentation to the field of quantum biology. She investigates whether quantum processes can influence biological systems. Quantum biology combines quantum physics and biology and has the potential to produce another way of thinking about how to modify biological processes and how to build better quantum technology.
